One of the founding organizers and the first president of TAMA. She currently owns The Bush Doctor Juice Bar & Crystal Factory. The Bush Doctor Juice Bar has been in operation since 2008.
Former owner of the legendary Jazz Spot Café and one of the first clothing boutiques on Tompkins Avenue in the late 1990s. She launched her first home business at age 14.With more than 20 years of business experience, she understands the challenges small businesses face and the services needed to help them succeed. Her innovative ideas have helped expand TAMA beyond membership to broader brand growth. She now serves as one of the first members of the Tompkins Avenue Merchant Advisory Board.

One of the organizing founders of TAMA and former Vice President of Community Board 3. Oma is the Founder and Principal Strategist of Adena Consulting and has served as Chief Operating Officer for Bridge Street Development Corporation.
She has provided back-office support for TAMA, secured grant funding, and partnered in the growth and development of TAMA Summer Fest, Feast Bed-Stuy, and Tompkins Avenue Open Streets (also known as “TAMA Sundays”). She has collaborated with merchants and other stakeholders to support the businesses located on Tompkins Avenue.
